The United Federation of Devonia (UFD) was established on the 28th of March, in the year 2016. The young constitutional republic was established by current Prime Minister Devon M. Linden, to be independent from the United States of America, due to a dislike New York's liberal policies, a poor financial situation for the founder, and the risk involved in the 2016 presidential election. The small, yet proud nation is seeking recognition and diplomatic ties with such nations as The United Kingdoms, Germany, Denmark, Canada, Australia, other anglo nations, as well as many more UN member states, so that it may make a transition from being a Micronation, to a Microstate.
