Imperial Armed Forces of Chukuo (武裝部隊), or IAFC, are the unified military forces of Chukuo that were established in 2014. In recent years they have been engaged in micronational peacekeeping operations. They encompass: the Imperial Maritime Force, a blue-water navy with a fleet of fishing boats; the Imperial Ground Force, Chukuo's principal land warfare branch; and the Imperial Air Force, a technologically sophisticated air force with a diverse operational fleet consisting aircraft.
The Commander-in-chief is the Chukuan monarch, the Taicheung Emperor, to whom members of the forces swear allegiance. However the Chukuan parliament maintains the armed forces during times of peace with the passing of quinquennial armed forces acts. The armed forces are managed by the Defence Council of the Ministry of Defence, headed by the Minister of Defence.
